The difference between new and old cars
January 26, 2025

Planters dont just drive cars. They are first and foremost very serious users of cars who constantly tranverse the most hostile terrains under the most demanding conditions….hence when planters no longer seem interested to buy new cars and prefer older models….one would do well to ask a big why. The reason is simple, new cars simply cannot do the job that old cars can…they are simply too fragile and since they come with alot of electronics. If something goes wrong in the wild, you cant even fix them. You’re as good as toast driving a new car in the wild! Old cars are better built, especially the older Toyotas. They were manufactured in an era when engineers took pride in their labor. Hence many of the design and manufacturing philosophy of that period was not just to make a car, but it also had to do the job without falling to bits. These days automobile firms no longer subscribe to that philosophy. I guess in the relentless age of cost cutting in the name of the profit motive. They have to build bull shit cars that look like jungle trekkers but since it just looks that way and the insides are all filled with cheap plastic and really sub standard componentry…the moment they go into the wild they just disintegrate.
