Is what is happening between Putin and Trump good for China?

A: In the short term whats unfolding in a chaotically explosive manner between Trump and Putin is definitely good for China. As JD Vance in his first trans-atlantic visit effectively dropped a philosophical atomic bomb on the Europeans. This definitely works in China’s favor because now it seems.the US and EU are not only at odds but they are also at loggerheads concerning how best to bring the Russo Ukraine war to a happy end. This is the analysis for the short term.

In the long term it is not in the interest of Russia to be pals with US….if that were to happen. Then the Chinese are as good as toast.

Kompf. There has to be equilibrium of not only yearnings and desires as Clausewitz once said, but there also has to be the necessary emnity and mistrust as well. When both these polarities are equally balanced then the peace can maintained.
