The cancer of plastic parts in modern car engines

My car was manufactured in 2010. That makes it 16 years of age. Just around 2010 Toyota started using plastic in their engine parts. At that time no one really knew how plastics in car engines would perform in the long run….fast forward 16 years later, we all know that’s a horrible idea. As no matter how heat resistant plastic is, it will get brittle with time and in a tropical climate where the engine is typically pushed hard and furious….plastic fails. Fortunately the model I drive only features a few plastic parts. These days modern cars are completely useless. They cannot even last 5 let alone 16 years. This is why I am going to stick to my car for a very long time.
